Great long memorial Day weekend. And of course, we never forget the people, the veterans who fought and made the ultimate sacrifice so we can live the lot, live the lives we do. Unfortunately, life happens when you're busy making other plans, which is why I don't have a trivia segment for today. But I certainly will do my best to have one for this week. Oh, my goodness. So many things. Just life. But we and the show must go on. And I'm going to talk about survivor, the great show on CB's. I wrapped up my long weekend by watching the season finale with my wife Erin. And if you have not seen the show, there's a lady named Kenzie who won it. Now, Kenzie is someone who had been working since she was 15 in hair salons. She got her beauty license when she was a teenager, opening up a salon very early on. And she said she's taking the million dollars for herself and how she gets a lot of kicks out of building other people up. That's what gives her strength and that's a really important thing. And as I was watching the finale with Aaron, that made me want to talk about this right here, right now, because I don't know about you, I feel a hell of a lot better when I'm doing something to help someone else because there's just a really good feeling about that, even if it's something small. And for me, helping other people out is just something I was raised to do. It's in my blood and something I like doing. Because at the end of the day, we're all just doing the best we can to get through life, whatever that circumstance is. I know. You know, people always say it in social media posts and it sounds very generic, but you don't know what someone else is going through. And that is 1000% true. But if you can do what you can to help someone in a time of need, I've certainly noticed since COVID especially, we've done a really bad job of that as a society, both here in this country and as a world collectively. And yeah, I know it was getting that way before COVID but my goodness, we need to get back to doing better and to doing more to help others because we are all nothing without relationships. And as I am always saying to people, do the best you can today. And if helping someone makes that happen, fantastic, let me know. I don't know how I'm going to help someone between when this podcast drops and tomorrow, but I certainly hope I have the opportunity.
